In these unprecedented times, it's more important than ever for our faculty to be facile with the latest tools and technology. As we prepare to meet the potential challenges of the 2020-21 with an agile approach, this website will provide a variety of useful professional development experiences. Our mission is to help SCH faculty build classroom culture and engaging learning experiences using virtual tools.
Our Three-Stage Approach
In partnership with Global Learning Academy, all SCH educators learn the best practices to translate their courses and curricula to an online learning environment.
Build for SCH
Department heads and mentors develop professional development experiences that are uniquely tailored to the needs of their academic discipline.
Train and Adapt
Department heads and mentors will work with MS grade-level teams and US subject teams to help translate our rich, creative and challenging SCH curriculum into uniquely crafted online courses.
Dates at a Glance
June 15 - June 19
Global Online Academy Bootcamp - Design of Online Learning.
A one-week intensive course that a group of SCH faculty members will take in order to train their peers.
June 22 - June 26
Global Online Academy Open Course - Designing for Online Learning
For all Middle School and Upper School SCH Faculty
July 6 - August 7
Department Specific Professional Development
